At Plush Design Renovations, located in the Adelaide Hills, we are led by the creative vision of Penelope Herbert, an exceptional interior designer whose passion for design was ignited at a young age.
With a foundation rooted in childhood play, Penelope brings a unique perspective to every project, combining maturity with a fresh and bold outlook.
“My earliest memory is a book in my Father’s library about how children around the world live. I was about four years old and found this fascinating. My childhood was surrounded with High Victorian Gothic architecture which I still adore and admire. I mean, who doesn’t love a gargoyle?
“My love of architecture and interior design progressed with a five-year subscription to “House & Garden” (a gift to my Mother), technical drawing classes in High School, creating hundreds of home floor plans for fun, and formal learning in interior design. My one consistent love my whole life has been architecture and interior design”.

Our team is strengthened by the talent and expertise of Associate Designer, Renee Panteli. As a graduate in interior design and with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Renee brings a youthful perspective and a wealth of knowledge to our projects.
Extensive travels in Europe sparked Renee’s journey in design, igniting a passion that drives her commitment to crafting exceptional interior spaces.
Renee seamlessly merges her architectural background with her love for interior design. This combination allows her to approach projects with a holistic mindset, ensuring that the spatial composition and functionality of each design are meticulously considered.
Her eye for detail and understanding of architectural principles bring a level of depth and sophistication to her work.
